Freiburg, Germany, October 1, 2003 – Beginning October 1, 2003, Dr. Dieter Pauschinger, 45, will become the new managing di-rector of HÜTTINGER Elektronik GmbH + Co. KG in Freiburg. He is taking over this position from Hans-Jochen Beilke, 53, who became head of sales for TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH + Co. KG in Ditzingen on July 1. Beilke was also asked to join the management team for the TRUMPF Group.

Dr. Pauschinger was a doctoral candidate from 1985 to 1988 at the University of Freiburg, Germany, where he received his doctorate in physics in 1988.

Following a research project at the University of California in Berkeley, he worked from 1989 to 1994 as a scientist with Carl Zeiss in Oberkochen, Germany.

From 1995 to 2001, Dr. Pauschinger was a director of devel-opment at Francotyp-Postalia AG & Co., Berlin. In 2001, he became the sole managing director at Carl Zeiss Microelec-tronic Systems in Jena, Germany.
